Delicious food & comfy stay!

We had a fab time! Got a huge room with a spa bath—def bring bubble bath! Staff were super friendly, especially at dinner, the three-course meal was soooo good. Only problem? The room was a bit chilly despite the heater on full blast. Breakfast in the conservatory was a nice touch, lots of choices too!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel with its beautiful gardens, perfect for relaxing with the kids after a long journey. The breakfast was served on the terrace, and the staff made it feel special, even adding a sweet surprise for my child's birthday.

My children wished the play area was better equipped. A few more outdoor activities for kids would enhance the family experience.

we loved our stay at mere court! the staff were incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. our room was spacious with a super comfy bed that ensured two great nights of sleep. the food at the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced, especially those tuna sandwiches you can't miss. a fantastic location close to tatton park too.

I loved the spacious and comfy executive room, perfect for a relaxing stay! Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choices but the bar prices were a bit steep. 😊

The dining experience was top-notch with scrumptious steaks that had me dreaming of them even after I left! Plus, the breakfast spread was absolutely delightful with a variety of options to kickstart my day. And speaking of breathtaking, the lush grounds added a brilliant touch to the overall vibe.

The place felt a bit tired in areas, especially the dated bathrooms, and there was a bit of a noise issue late into the night from the weddings. It's a shame, really, as it detracted from an otherwise lovely stay.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

Our Feature Room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. noise from slamming doors made it hard to sleep. The staff were helpful, especially during our early taxi request. For breakfast, arrive early to ensure fresh stock. Consider rooms away from the corridor for a quieter experience.

My recent stay at Mere Court was quite pleasant. The executive double room was spacious and well-furnished, with beautiful views of the gardens, making it perfect for relaxation. The staff were attentive and efficient, particularly in assisting with my work needs during my stay. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of options including freshly baked pastries.

While the overall experience was good, some areas felt slightly dated.

Unfortunately, the central heating made it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature in our room.

Cramped reception area!!! Dark rooms with insufficient lighting create a gloomy atmosphere!!! Navigating the hotel layout is confusing without proper signage!!! Maintenance clearly needs attention in several areas!!!

Stayed with friends for a fun weekend getaway. We enjoyed the beautiful landscaped gardens, perfect for relaxing and taking photos. We also visited Gillivers World in Warrington, which was a hit with everyone. Just a tip, it can get quite busy during events, so book ahead if you're looking for dining options.

One drawback was the lack of seating in the bar area. it was a bit cramped, especially during peak times.
